Snack Time

 

Everyday after recess or gym we take a washroom break and then have snack time.

All students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack from home. The following foods may be eaten at snack time: fruits, vegetables, cheese, fruit juice, or milk. Please no junk food. Food should be ready to eat and not require peeling, washing, or slicing. There is only a limited time for snacks.

Parents may purchase milk for their children at the beginning of the year and again in January. You may specify white or chocolate milk. The classroom helpers enjoy getting the milk from the refrigerator and serving it to their friends at their table.
