2011- 2012 Early Childhood Screening Dates October 14, 2011 February 10, 2012 Early Childhood Screenings are held during the school year to identify students who may need special services prior to entering Kindergarten. Areas to be screened include: concepts, speech/language, vision/hearing, & coordination. These screenings are for children ages 3-5 who reside in Center Cass School District #66. This year Center Cass District 66 is implementing a new behavioral support system called Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a proactive system approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture that is needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional, & academic sucess. |
