Text Boxes (Frames)

To use text boxes in OpenOffice -- In OO, the term used for text boxes is “frames”.

Click on

Insert

Frame

On the next screen, you can add borders, background colors, etc.

When you are finished setting up the text box, Click OK.

NOTE: Click outside the box. You have to click outside before typing in the box. Click inside the box to type.

The text box show below has peach fill color.
