FITNESS ACTIVITIES

 

 

Lakeview Fitness Activities are done weekly and include the following activities; Jogging, Step Aerobics, Jump Roping, Circuit training and the Pacer.

 

Fitness Activities last 10-15 minutes and are done 2-3 days a week.

 

The Physical Education Department recommends and encourages students

to participate in fitness activities outside of class as well. Aerobic activities, ideally, should be 20-30 minutes long.

 

The Physical Education Department also recommends that students work in their Target heart Rate Zones while doing fitness activities. This is why we use Heart Rate Monitors during class.

 

Heart Rate Monitors ensure that students are getting the maximum aerobic benefit from their workout.
