 25 points to win a game, with at least a 2 point lead.

Lines are IN bounds -- if the ball hits the line it is good.

 Net is IN play, at all times.

 Ceiling is IN play on your side.

 Ceiling is out of play if ball goes over net.

 Walls are OUT of play.

 The serve must go directly over the net without touching anybody or the net standards.

 In regulation volleyball, any time a team misses the ball, the other team is awarded 1 point.

 We play SPEED SCORING, where a point is scored on every play.

 3 hits on a side to get the ball over; the same person cannot hit it twice in a row.

If you touch the net or cross the centerline the other team gets the ball.

This is the hand position when FOREARM passing (bumping) the ball.

The ball is bumped with your forearms (above your wrists).

The ball is set with the first 3 fingers of each hand.

The palm of your hand may hit the ball only on a serve or spike.

The serve should be received with a bump.

 Offense in volleyball is: BUMP - SET - SPIKE.
