Golf Course Design
All golf holes have the following: teeing areas, fairways, roughs and greens. They also have sand traps, water and trees
to get in the way. The holes go in
order and the end of one leads to the tee area of the next
A par 36, nine-hole course, usually contains two par 3s, 5
par 4s, and 2 par 5s. The distance for
these pars from the red tee is given below.

Using a piece of posterboard, pencil, markers, and the
information above, design a nine-hole golf course. Include:
Teeing
areas
Fairways
Greens with
flag marking hole number
Hazards
such as water, sand traps, trees
Par and
yardage markers at each teeing area for red tees
A name for
the course
Layout of holes
