Center Cass District 66 Parent / Teacher Organization consists of the District PTO and a separate PTO for each of the three schools or "attendance centers" - Elizabeth Ide, Prairieview and Lakeview Junior High School. The District PTO Board includes the principal of each school and two teacher representatives for the district.

The District PTO raises funds through a variety of events, including the Magazine Drive, the Market Day Program, the sale of entertainment Coupon Books and a social event such as this year's Dinner Dance. The District PTO depends on the support of parents and the PTO at each school to ensure the success of the fund raisers.

The District PTO uses money raised to enhance the student's experiences at each of the attendance centers. Each year, the District PTO approves a budgeted amount of money to be distributed to each of the school PTO's. The School PTO's use these funds for programs appropriate for their students. These programs include such things as a Year End Picnic for students, Student Motivation /Reading Incentive Programs, Unplugged Week, and Student Assemblies, Dances, and Scholarships for students.

District PTO funds remaining after distributions to the School PTO budgeted programs are available for other purposes, such as physical enhancements to each school's facilities. This year, the District PTO will devote excess funds from the Magazine Drive to technology needs at the three schools. Excess funds from the Entertainment Books, Market Day and the Dinner Dance will provide playground equipment and enhancement of the district's athletic facilities.

In addition to the district fund-raisers, fund-raisers organized by each School PTO (examples are Bookfairs, General Mills Boxtops, Campbell Soup Labels, and Book Sox) are used for specific needs and enhancements at that school.
