District 66 Parents,

I am excited to announce the close of another successful school year! Our students did a phenomenal job this year and we couldn't be more proud of their accomplishments!

As I spoke to students on the last day of school about summertime, I asked them to be sure to play in the dirt, ride their bikes, read a stack of books, play in the sprinkler, and be safe. Hopefully they do all of those things and more before returning in the fall!

Lakeview Memory Makers
Lakeview students involved in the Memory Makers Club visited residents of Sunrise in Reminiscence twice a month this past school year. Residents and students worked together to make decorations, do party prep, crafts, and assemble care packages. The Memory Makers Club received this message from Sunrise, "Since the students visit us so often, we decided it was our turn to visit them - at school! Many of the Memory Makers performed in the school musical and we wanted to show our support. The students are so talented and we loved watching them perform. We can't wait for the club to come back in the fall for the next school year. See you soon!"

TEAM 66 News

TEAM 66 - Education Foundation
We can hardly believe that the 2017-18 school year has come to a close. What a tremendous year it has been with so many wonderful achievements. First, and foremost, the Team 66 Education Foundation would like to thank our entire district for their ongoing support throughout this past school year. Due to everyone's generosity and time, Team 66 raised over $8,000 this year that will go towards Teacher Grants which will be awarded later this summer. We can't wait to announce the new programs that we will help fund and directly benefit your students.

Commemorative Bricks

Looking for a great birthday or special occasion gift idea that will certainly get your student's "stamp" of approval and commemorate their time spent at CCSD66 schools? Consider giving your student the gift of a personalized brick located in front of the bell at Prairieview. This is an excellent opportunity to create a remembrance of their positive experience at our school district. The bricks will be engraved with their name and graduation year, and are available in 4 x 8 or 8 x 8. Each brick can be custom engraved with 3 lines consisting of 13 characters. A perfect gift from parents, guardians, siblings, and grandparents! Visit www.team66ef.org to place your order today.
