2019-2020 Registration Instructions and Forms for Current Students

All families of current District 66 students need to complete this process to enroll their returning student(s) for the 2019-2020 school year. To view a complete list of registration forms required for each grade level scroll down to the next section.

Please complete this online portion of registration by June 1, 2019:

  1. Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, select "Forgot Username or Password".
  2. Once logged in, click the "Demographics" button on the left side of your screen. Verify the information for your student. If corrections are needed, please click the "change request form" link at the bottom of the Demographic Information screen and submit your changes. If no corrections are needed, continue to step 3.
  3. Click the "2019-2020 Registration" button on the top left side of the screen to begin the online registration process. Student ID numbers are displayed on the Demographic screen. You must register each student separately. When you have finished completing the online registration forms, you will receive a confirmation email.

Final Steps to Complete Registration - Submit to the District Office by  August 1, 2019.
Your registration will NOT be complete until you have submitted all of the following:

  • 2019-2020 Registration Fee Form (one form per family)
  • Payment or E-Pay receipt: Make checks payable to Center Cass School District 66. Payments can also be made online through E-Pay (for more information on E-Pay click here).
  • Residency Verification Form along with proper documentation - only if entering grade 3 or grade 6 (or if an Affidavit of Student Residency was submitted for the prior school year)
  • Health, Vision, or Dental exam forms if required for the grade level your child is entering. See below for a list of required forms for each grade level.

For your convenience, a registration drop box is located in the entryway of Prairieview School from May-August. Or if you prefer, mail payments and paperwork to:  Center Cass School District 66, 699 Plainfield Rd., Downers Grove, IL 60516.

*Please note: Due to construction at Prairieview, the main entrance will not be accessible from July 29-August 12, 2019. Please use the rear entrance (Door 2 near the playground) to access the District Office or to drop-off registration materials during this time.

*Athletic Physical Examinations
 are required for all 6th-8th grade students wishing to participate in the interscholastic athletic program at Lakeview Junior High School. They must have an Athletic Physical Examination Form signed by a doctor on file prior to tryouts

Lunch Program and My School Bucks Electronic Payment System:

Waiver of Registration Fees:
District 66 ensures that each student has equal access to the programs and services offered as a part of the educational experience. A student shall be eligible for a fee waiver when the student currently lives in a household with a low income and/or a unique hardship. Please use the Fee Waiver Form to request financial accommodations.

Free/Reduced Lunch:
Free and reduced-priced meals are available to children whose family qualifies based on the size of household and income level. The household eligibility guidelines, as well as the policies governing this program, are determined annually by the State of Illinois and the federal government. Prior to the beginning of the school year, the District receives notice from the Illinois State Board of Education for families who have qualified for free meals through a Direct Certification process. Other families may become eligible for meal benefits by completing an Application for Free and Reduced Meals. Families must re-apply for meal benefits every year.
