Lakeview Homebase News

Homebase is the eighteen-minute advisor/advisee program at the beginning of the day that groups together 14-16 students with one teacher.

The Homebase program is designed to be a non-threatening, non-academic setting that allows students and teachers to get to know one another better. Each day focuses on a particular activity or goal, encompassing such things as Character Counts, organization, goal setting, study tips, theme centered activities, birthday celebrations, community service, and fund raisers for causes such as P.A.D.S., the Leukemia Society, March of Dimes, and the Make a Wish Foundation.

Respect
By Dave G. and Nick C.

Being kind to others,
Not talking back.

Playing counterstrike on you PC,
And not trying to hack.

Helping other people,
Either old or young.

Being kind to others,
And still having fun!
