I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and was able to spend time with friends and family. December keeps us busy with many fun and exciting events at Elizabeth Ide. Our mitten tree is really getting full and is a nice addition to the IMC. Kindergarteners are getting ready to hunt for the gingerbread man, while first graders take a trip on the Polar Express. Second graders will be traveling around the world to learn about the different holidays celebrated at this time of year. Some other happenings are listed below:

Tuesday, December 17th – EARLY DISMISSAL – All students are dismissed at noon; pick-ups are at 12:15
Wednesday, December 18th – PTO Cookie Exchange for the staff of Ide – 3:45
Friday, December 20th – We will celebrate Reading in December with classroom snowman activities
Winter Break begins Monday, December 23rd. I hope you and your families have a safe, festive and fun season!
