District 66 Board of Education Meet the Candidate Night - Monday, March 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Center Cass Board of Education has 3 seats available in the upcoming April 4 Election. There are 5 candidates running for three School Board seats. They are Tripp Burton, Megan DuPass, Nikki Giancola-Shanks, Tiffany Watson, and Doug Wiley. All 5 candidates plan to be at Prairieview Elementary School on Monday, March 20 @ 7:00 pm to introduce themselves to the community and share their thoughts on running for the Center Cass School Board. As part of their introduction to the community, each candidate will publically answer the same predetermined questions which are designed to let the viewer know who they are, why they are running for the Board, and their vision for District 66.
When the event is over, each candidate will stay inside the Prairieview Learning Center while the audience is invited to come forward to meet the candidate in person. At that time, the in-person audience member may ask the candidate anything else they would like to know about their school board candidacy in a one-on-one setting.
Attendees may view the meeting in person or view the meeting online via Zoom. The event is not a Board meeting, nor a debate, nor an avenue for a public question and answer session. It is simply a chance to further connect the community to the candidates. Once the connection is made, community members are encouraged to contact candidates individually for additional information.
