Family & Interests
For the past five years I have proudly served as the principal of Elizabeth Ide Elementary School. Now, I begin a new chapter in my professional journey by serving as our District’s Director of Student Services. Moving into a district administrative role has always been a dream of mine. In this new role, I will be able to help grow, lead, and impact more students and teachers, continuously improve and move our amazing district forward, and partner with ALL of our Center Cass 66 families and community members.
Work-life balance is also important to me. My wife and I have been married 19 years and have two wonderful children. We also have a dog that brings much joy and excitement, too! Spending quality time with my family is essential. We enjoy being outdoors together, laughing, and making the best out of any moment. I am also currently in pursuit of obtaining my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership through Illinois State University. As I continue to grow as an educational leader, I am often asked the following question - What is your leadership for? My leadership is for equity and inclusion for all students while making a difference regardless of anyone’s race or ethnic group, socio-economic conditions, sexual orientations and gender identities, religious affiliation, home language, abilities, or disabilities. As we work together, we can make a difference!
