Each year, the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) offers an opportunity for Middle and High School students to audition for an Honor Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Jazz Band. District 66 is part of ILMEA District 1 which is one of the largest and most competitive districts in the state.
Through a competitive audition process, we are pleased to announce that 3 Lakeview students have been selected to represent Lakeview JHS. Congratulations to Emily Feylo - Oboe (7th Grade), Emmet O'Connor - Baritone (7th Grade), and Emily Molina - Trumpet (7th Grade).
They will be performing on Saturday, November 4th alongside approximately 95 other talented Middle School Students at Unity Jr. High School in Cicero. We are proud of their hard work and dedication to achieve this goal.
