November 15, School Board Members Day, is a chance to thank the school board members of District 66 and recognize the important role they play in representing our community’s voice in educational decisions. These dedicated individuals are volunteers who serve as advocates, working to ensure quality educational opportunities for every student. They take on this responsibility not for financial gain, but out of a genuine commitment to the community and its children.
Our board members are front-line advocates, giving our community a voice, shaping the district’s vision, and creating a pathway to student success. In doing so, they safeguard two of our most valuable resources—our children and our tax dollars—while striving to provide the best possible educational environment with the resources available.
