CCSD66 celebrated Veterans Day today with heartfelt ceremonies across all three schools, honoring both the veterans who joined us in person and those who were unable to attend. Special projects created by students highlighted their personal connections to veterans, fostering a meaningful and reflective atmosphere. The Boy Scouts color guard began the ceremonies with a presentation of the colors, while the choirs from Ide and Prairieview sang songs of gratitude, and the Lakeview band played patriotic music throughout the ceremony. Veterans were warmly welcomed to enjoy refreshments and the opportunity to connect with fellow veterans and students. It was a truly proud and memorable day in CCSD66, filled with respect and appreciation for our veterans.
