October is National Principals Month, a time to recognize the dedication and leadership of school principals across the country. Principals serve as the cornerstone of their schools, guiding instructional practices, supporting teachers, building strong relationships with families, and creating safe, welcoming environments where students can succeed. Their work often extends far beyond the school day, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow.
In District 66, we are proud to recognize our principals for their commitment to students, staff, and the community. This includes Dr. Kim Liles at Lakeview, Mr. Jake Little at Prairieview, and Elizabeth Ide Co-Principals Mr. Mark Pagel and Mrs. Laura Gilmartin.
We are grateful for their leadership and the countless ways they help make our schools strong, supportive places for learning.
