District 66 is proud to celebrate National School Bus Safety Week from Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24! This week serves as an important reminder of the role we all play in keeping students safe and informed while riding the bus. Throughout the week, students will review key safety guidelines—learning how to properly approach the bus, board and exit safely, and practice responsible behavior during their ride.
The week will conclude with Bus Driver Appreciation Day on Friday, a special opportunity to recognize our dedicated drivers who go above and beyond each day to protect and care for our students. Take a moment to thank these everyday heroes for their commitment to safety and for keeping our school community moving smoothly and securely!
