District 66 is proud to join the Illinois Principals Association (IPA) and schools across the state in celebrating Principal Appreciation Week, October 20–24, 2025. This annual, state-endorsed recognition—first approved by the Governor of Illinois in 1990—honors the dedication, leadership, and impact of principals, assistant principals, and deans who guide our schools every day.
Throughout the week, we recognize the vital role these school leaders play in fostering safe, supportive, and successful learning environments for students and staff alike. Their vision, collaboration, and commitment help shape the foundation of strong school communities across Illinois.
